Il Manager HSE nell’ambito della propria attività di lavoro deve dare importanza alle piccole cose ed organizzare il raggiungimento degli obiettivi HSE personali e del proprio team di lavoro attuando la “politica dei piccoli passi” al fine di garantirne un miglioramento continuo.
Il Manager HSE deve essere consapevole ed in grado di suddividere gli obiettivi in traguardi intermedi con periodicità chiaramente stabilite e rispettabili nei tempi e modi. In particolare, deve scomporre ogni singolo traguardo in attività specifiche che consentano di raggiungere la meta molto più facilmente garantendo un puntuale controllo circa l’avanzamento delle attività.
Il Manager HSE deve essere in grado di integrare all’interno delle proprie abitudini di lavoro anche molta pazienza perché i grandi cambiamenti sono fatti da piccole cose ma correttamente pianificate.
Il Manager HSE deve imparare ad organizzare il raggiungimento degli obiettivi HSE nel lungo, medio e breve periodo ed in particolare deve identificare le risorse necessarie, i traguardi intermedi, i passi da seguire periodicamente e quotidianamente.
Il Manager HSE deve avere la consapevolezza del dove si sta dirigendo, del perché sta seguendo quella determinata direzione e della capacità di apprezzare il progetto che sta sviluppando.
Il Manager HSE, per ciascun piccolo obiettivo raggiunto, deve essere in grado di celebrare e valorizzare le risorse che ne hanno permesso il conseguimento nei diversi periodi dell’intera durata del progetto. Solo così i componenti del team di lavoro si sentiranno apprezzati, valorizzati interamente e pronti a conseguire altri risultati.
Il Manager HSE non deve mai smettere di credere e poiché crede che le persone possono cambiare le proprie abitudini sbagliate; queste iniziano a cambiare ed insieme a loro anche il modo di fare le cose e di raggiungere gli obiettivi HSE prefissati.

The HSE Manager in his or her work must give importance to the small things and organise the achievement of personal and team HSE goals by implementing the ‘small steps policy’ in order to ensure continuous improvement.
The HSE Manager must be aware and able to break down the objectives into intermediate targets with clearly
established and respectable time and manner. In particular, he or she must break down each individual goal into specific activities that make it much easier to reach the goal and ensure timely monitoring of the progress of activities.
The HSE Manager must also be able to integrate a lot of patience into his or her work habits, because big changes are made by small but properly planned things.
The HSE Manager must learn to organise the achievement of HSE objectives in the long, medium and short term and in particular must identify the necessary resources, intermediate targets, steps to be taken periodically and daily.
The HSE Manager must have an awareness of where he or she is heading, why he or she is following that particular
direction, and the ability to appreciate the project he or she is developing.
For each small objective achieved, the HSE Manager must be able to celebrate and valorise the resources that made it possible to achieve it at different times throughout the project. Only then will the t eam members feel appreciated, fully valued and ready to achieve more.
The HSE Manager must never stop believing and because he believes that people can change their bad habits, they start to change and along with them the way of doing things and achieving their HSE goals.
